GT12
As per the BRCA GT12 construction rules with the following exceptions;
Only the Contact control tyre to be used. Part Numbers JGCF, JGCR and JG2CR. The tyre is identified by the green stripe which must be left intact on the tyre.
Bodyshells are at the discretion of the club committee. The Superrad Superkura SR04 is not allowed.
Reverse is not allowed during a club night, with the exception of club cars and those racers in their first year who are racing in heat 1.
LMP12
As per the BRCA construction rules.
Only 13.5 turn or higher motors to be used.
Additive.
Only additive from the BRCA 12th Section approved list is allowed at the club.
Booking in is online via the club website. Booking in closes at 2100 on a Thursday evening. If the entry list is full before this time the entry form will be closed and a reserve list will be kept. No entry will be offered after booking in closes apart from drivers on the reserve list.
Payment must be made to confirm your booking via Paypal before booking in closes. It will be assumed that entries not paid before this time will no longer be required and the space offered to a reserve driver. If you are unable to pay by Paypal then please discuss with a member of the committee.
Refunds of entries will be issued for cancellations received before 1200 on Friday. Cancellation after this time will forfeit the entry fee paid.
All drivers entering a club night agree to help put the track and club equipment out at the start of the night and help with packing away at the end of the night. If you are not able to help or need to leave before all equipment is packed away please let the committee know.
All drivers must marshall the race after their own unless instructed to marshall another race by the race director. Marshalls must be in position before the start of the countdown for the next race. Failure to marshall will result in losing your fastest qualifying time of the night. If you are unable to marshall please let the committee/race director know.
Marshalls are to provide their own Hi-Viz vest to wear when marshalling. Hi-Viz vests should only be worn when marshalling and removed while in the pit area.
All drivers will be BRCA members and will have agreed to the BRCA race with respect policy.
Aggressive behaviour whether physical or verbal will not be tolerated at the club. The race director will remove any racer behaving in this manner from the meeting.
Whilst on the rostrum :
You will be respectful to other drivers at all times.
You must not shout, unless alerting other drivers or marshall to a hazard, and
you must not swear or be aggressive towards other drivers at any time.
Driving etiquette. Drivers must make all reasonable efforts to not crash into other cars. If you do accidently crash into another car you should wait until the affected car has recovered before restarting.
All junior members are to be supervised by an adult at all times.
Lipo batteries must be charged in a lipo bag or other approved container.
Drivers will provide a cover for their pit table and will make all efforts to keep the hall clean and tidy. Drivers will wipe down the table they have used with the wipes provided at the end of the meeting.
No video recording to take place in the hall without the club committee’s permission.
