Lothian Summer Grand Prix

Lothian RCCC are pleased to announce that we will be holding a one day meeting on Saturday the 1st of August.

Doors open 0815 and racing finishes at 1630.

We will be offerring GT12, GT12 EVO, GT-Hypercar and LMP12 Classes.

Lothian RCCC is the premier racing experience for 12th Circuit racing in Scotland with our 19m * 12m track allowing space to race and really show your cars true performance.

The race format will be 6 minute racing for GT12 and 8 minute racing for LMP12 with an aim to have 4 heats and three finals for everyone. Final race format will depend on entry numbers but we will make sure you get as much track time and racing as possible. 

This will be a fun and relaxed meeting but there will be some rules.

Juniors £12

Please note that the entry fee is higher for this event as this reflects the increased cost of the hall rental following the changes brought in by West Lothian Council in April. Our costs are now roughly 6 times higher than last year. 

What could be better than a whole day racing your GT12 or LMP12 car ?

 How about making it a true Grand Prix and running at the club the night before.

GT12

Construction rules as per the BRCA national rules.

Contact Control tyres to be used front and rear. 

Additive is allowed from the BRCA List ie Spider Grip and SXT.

Blinky speed controls, 1s batteries and 13.5 turn motors.

GT12 Evo and GT-Hypercar. 

Construction rules as per the BRCA national rules.

Contact or Ulti 38 shore spec (Blue/Purple stripe) tyres to be used front and rear. 

Additive is allowed from the BRCA List ie Spider Grip and SXT.

850g Minimum weight for both classes. 

Blinky speed controls, 1s batteries and 17.5 turn motors.

LMP12

Construction rules as per the BRCA national rules. 

Open Tyre. 

Blinky speed controls, 1s batteries and a maximum of a 13.5 motor  i.e you can run 17.5 if you like in with the 13.5.
